Step 9: Career Path

Step 9 is where your character really starts to come together. In this step you determine your character’s primary profession. Choose or roll on Table 9 to define this career path, roll on the appropriate sub-table, and then move on to Step 10.

THE STORY:

The career decided here is either the one you practiced most notably during your life so far (perhaps out of a handful of careers over the years) or the one you most recently pursued at the start of gameplay. In most cases, this career will be the one you practiced in the wake of the Fall, as you navigated a life in the drastically changed and shell-shocked Solar System. Whichever the case, it is the one that defines you the most, in terms of skills.
